North London Portrait Studio: Spring & Wedding Season Begins
With Easter nearly here and many families already enjoying the school holidays, this time of year always feels like a gentle pause. It’s a chance to slow down, spend time together and appreciate those moments that often pass us by in the busyness of everyday life.
At our North London portrait studio in Enfield, this time of year is always a lovely one for family photography — families coming together, children off school, and a natural opportunity to capture relaxed, meaningful portraits.
A Small Setback… and a Fresh Start
It’s been a slightly unexpected month for us, as we experienced a flood at the studio which damaged some of our equipment. Not quite the start to spring we had planned!
However, thanks to Joel working incredibly hard behind the scenes, everything is now back up and running. We’re so pleased to be fully operational again and welcoming families back into the studio.
Moments like these are a reminder of how much we love what we do — and how important it is to keep creating beautiful photographs for our clients.
Wedding Season Is Already Underway
While the studio has been recovering, wedding season has been quietly building momentum.
Joel has already had the privilege of photographing several weddings this year, capturing those real, unscripted moments that make each celebration unique. As an award-winning North London wedding photographer, this time of year always marks the beginning of a busy and exciting season ahead.
One recent highlight was a beautiful wedding at the Kinloss Banqueting Suite, full of joy, emotion and unforgettable moments. It’s a wonderful reminder of what’s to come as spring and summer weddings approach.
For couples currently planning their wedding, this is often when everything starts to come together — venues confirmed, details finalised and excitement building.
A Little About Me
You hear a lot about Joel, but Peter Dyer Photographs is very much a team effort.
I’m Debbie, and I run the studio side of the business — from welcoming clients and planning portrait sessions to keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. I love getting to know our families and our couples as they plan their wedding, helping create an experience that feels relaxed and personal from start to finish.
I split my time between the studio and working from home with our two teenage boys — who are growing up far too quickly!
As we move further into spring, we’re looking forward to everything the season brings — from family portrait sessions in our London portrait studio to a calendar full of beautiful weddings.
If you’re planning your wedding or thinking about booking a portrait session, we’d love to hear from you.
